What can we all do to encourage women to explore these careers?
SW
You can’t force women into the industry. It all starts from school; if they have an interest, they will naturally want to work within the industry. There might not be much exposure to what our industry involves and the variety of roles available so it is crucial that we all support and encourage each other to learn and develop, as well as raise awareness what what jobs like mine entail.

How do you balance work and life?
SW
It is important to remember that you work to live and not live to work. This doesn’t mean you don’t care about your career and success, but it means you also have a life outside of work to be proud of.
JS
What are you most proud of, in and out of work?
SW
I am proud of the family and life I have built for myself, including having my son Freddie. Being a mum is everything and has made me see life in a completely new and exciting way!
