From Plant to Paper
Natural dyes, upcycled into beautiful papers
Natural dyes are sourced from renewable origins that can be replenished responsibly, including food waste and inedible plant sources. The Wainwright Colours from Nature collection is made using renewable, non-edible waste from rosemary production which is turned into dyestuff. By repurposing waste, these high-performance natural-based dyes are helping to support the transition to a more circular economy.
A Commitment to Sustainability
Responsible sourcing and minimising waste
We work with the best available dyes to ensure the dyes are bound fast to the paper fibres and not wasted. All aligned with the green chemistry principle; to reduce waste and use fewer material inputs as much as possible. In parallel, we’re constantly searching for new solutions and partnering with innovators to scale the next generation of dyes that are kinder to the planet.
Suited to Traditional and Digital Print Processes
Versatility of end applications
Digital and offset are the two primary printing methods for printing on paper. Digital print is great for smaller quantities using CMYK colours, offset printing is a bit more adaptive and both CYMK and pantone colours can be used in the process.
