Paul Barber has recently joined James Cropper, the global market leader in Paper & Packaging and Advanced Materials, as the Managing Director of Paper & Packaging. His appointment coincides with our 180th year of operation and the unification of James Cropper Speciality Paper, Colourform, and Technical Fibre Products under the single brand name of James Cropper, with the new brand essence – ‘Making a Material Difference’.

Paul brings over 25 years of experience in the paper and packaging industry. He began his career as an Area Sales Manager for Sonoco and has since held significant roles at Weidenhammer Packaging Group, Smurfit Kappa, DS Smith, and Corrboard. Before joining James Cropper, Paul served as the Managing Director of the Coveris Group.

Throughout his career, Paul has demonstrated expertise in building customer partnerships and programs of customer excellence, operational stabilization and acceleration, investment planning, new product development, employee engagement strategies, and manufacturing growth. His strategic vision and leadership are expected to drive further innovation and success within James Cropper’s Paper & Packaging division.
