Tell us about a typical day in your role at James Cropper
CF
I’m based outside Milan, Italy instead of Kendal where the mill is, so most of my days are working from home with Teams meetings, emails, calls. My favourite thing about being in sales is meeting clients face to face, so any day I get to meet with clients in person is a good day. I like to get to the mill roughly every two months so people can remember what I look like!

During your career at James Cropper, what has been your most memorable highlight?
CF
Visiting the headquarters of world-leading brands to help them deliver their packaging projects. It’s exciting that we work with such incredible brands and that they like and appreciate what we supply for them.

What work are you particularly proud of at James Cropper?
CF
Having helped grow our packaging portfolio. It’s been very satisfying to watch the company work to adapts its methods and styles of working to best serve our packaging clients, especially as our TailorMade proposal fits so well with what so many luxury brands are looking for.

Which three things would you take to a desert island?
CF
My Spotify account, headphones, coffee. After all these years of living in Italy you would think I have complicated coffee tastes but mine is quite simple: espresso with hot water (an americano), no sugar or milk.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
CF
Having a gleaming Campari Spritz on a Friday evening, while watching K-Dramas, Friday evenings are my favourite, and I like taking that moment to relax to let go of the busy week and slow down.
